writing complaint letters

Last week I shared about the horrible day I had on the phone with CSpire and Samsung trying to resolve the issue of Ana's locked phone. Again and again I was in contact with voices on the phone that contradicted the previous voices I had spoken with.

On Thursday I sent out 2 letters; 1 to CSpire Corp and the other to CSpire regional.

Today I received a phone call from a man, Darrell, from CSpire Corp. He apologized for the issue I had, enquired as to which store the phone was taken into and who fixed it. He also gave me a month's credit on the phone bill for Ana's phone to make up for the worry and aggravation I had endured.

He stated that if a rep in the store knew what to do to resolve the lock issue, then reps on the phone should also know.

He was very nice and even gave me his phone number.

Blind blind

Please note the old red lopers laying on the gas tank. Recall how close it is to the work area. Saturday I walked this 2 acres over, sheds, house, store, shrub area...looking for that pair of lopers. They were lying there all the time. I don't know how often I walked by them. I did not see them yet they were there all the time. I spotted them today when I turned on that row of sprinklers. I have laughed and laughed. I really needed those lopers to trim the potted crape myrtles.

The move

This is the area I am moving the plants to. I've worked off and on for a month now, slowly moving and cleaning

Crazy blind

This is an area of ground cover we are clearing. We are movong these plants up a row or two so I will only have to run two rows of sprinklers this summer. It is a long drawn out process often requiring that I wait for Terry to have time to help.
Please note the large gas tank and it's proximity to the buggy and cleared area furthur past the buggy.

telephones and customers reps

On May 9, 2012, my granddaughter woke and her Samsung Character phone, would not respond to the passcode. I called CSpire to enquire about what could be done and was told that I would have to bring it in the store, there was no way to unlock it over the phone.

A few hours later I decided to call the Columbia store, the closest CSpire store to me to enquire if they, indeed would be able to unlock the phone or would I need to drive further to McComb or Hattiesburg; both towns 25 and 50 miles distance from me, opposite directions from me. I dialed the 601-736 number listed in the direction for the Columbia CSpire store and again got the call center. When I enquired as to why this was I was told that the CSpire reps in the store were to be waiting on customers not answering the phone so I would NEVER reach an actual person in an actual store.

Upon telling this service rep my issue I was told that bringing it into the store was NOT the solution. They could not unlock it, they had NO codes with which to unlock it even in the store and I would have to call Samsung.

I did and that is whole 'nother story, but was finally told to get CSpire on the phone and between the two businesses they could unlock the phone. I called CSpire and was told that because I was NOT Robert Reid, even though I had all his information, I couldn't do anything. Funny thing is, I had done a lot of things regarding that account, including setting it up prior to this call. So, I wait for husband to come home. We call CSpire again, this rep does NOT ask for hubby's express verbal permission but instead tells me that she has NO reason to call Samsung, she can NOT unlock it on the phone, it can NOT be unlocked over the phone but must be brought INTO the store. I repeated asked her to call Samsung, she finally agreed to call them and then tells me there is no such number, at which time I gave her the correct number. She tries it, says no one answers so we hang up. Her name was Johnnie and her number was/is 1072 according to her.

I, myself call Samsung, get them on the phone immediately, am told Samsung's phones do not call out, so I call CSpire myself, but and get some other rep named Shonee or something similar on the phone but we can never join the two calls. (I do have a smartphone, LG, which does conference calls I just wasn't sure how to do it as I had not done this before.) We all hang up and again I call Samsung back, get them on the phone, call CSpire, get Brandon, #1740 and Samsung tries her codes with no luck, so Brandon tells me he can unlock it possibly, but has to search for the codes. If he can't, then we can take it into a store and with hands on it can be unlocked. While he is searching, Samsung gives me the instructions for mailing the phone into them for re-flashing should Brandon be unable to unlock it and should I decided to not take it into a store. But somewhere along the line I lost Brandon as he was NOT there when the Samsung woman hung up.

I just went to your website and I saw the ads where *your nickels and dimes add up to dollars to them* showing how CSpire is cheaper than the other providers compared to..yet several of your CSR have insisted that I not only drive 20 miles to one store to take a phone in, but if THAT store can't do the unlock, then I may have to drive to another store.

By the end of the day I was ready to not only pull my hair out, but to tell ya'll as a phone provider where you could shove your provision and your reps. I left AT&T and went with you because I couldn't get any service with AT&T and AT&T had/has become so 'big' they don't think they need the small customer. I have good service with your company so far and hope that the service continues, but dealing with your customer service reps is another story. This isn't the first time I have had encounters of a dissatisfactory type with your people.

As of this moment I am very dissatisfied with the service I receive from you, I am frustrated over the inability to resolve this problem quickly and with the least amount of stress. I also feel that YOU as a company need to educate your SRs as to the TRUTH as it applies to what you are able to do or not do and not have one say yes we can, another say no we can't, and yet another say oh well if one can't take it to another one and maybe they can.

Thank you very much,

Klara Reid

Above is a letter I wrote CSpire concerning my phone experience with them. Along with that..in calling Samsung, the first person I got couldn't understand me and hung up on me; the second person I got I couldn't understand and I hung up on her, the 3rd person and I managed to muddle through the conversation.

Today, Stacie has the phone and will carry it to CSpire and see if they can unlock it.

Stacie saga

I imagine Stacie has slept off and on for 2 days. I went up there today and woke her. She didn't like that a bit even though I didn't raise hell...just told her she needed to wake up so I would know if she was alive or dead.

She finally went to town for Shandi's medicine and put my money in the bank and picked up my box of cake mix I forgot the other night. Shandi came down a while ago and said her mom had fallen asleep again. I figure she's over doing it on the prescrip meds because her heart is broken and her back hurts and her foot hurts and life suxs and nobody loves her.

Poor thing...NOT.

ana told me this morning that mom had texted her last night to let her know Jamie had broken up with her. First time Stacie had contacted Ana all week. I said to Ana...she wanted your sympathy.
Ana...humphhh, she can get over it.
Me...but Ana isn't that a bit cold?
Ana...It's exactly what she told me when i fell off my bike. She said I was a big girl and needed to get up and get over it. So that's what she needs to do.
Me...Wow Ana, you sure hold onto a resentment a long time
Ana...Yes, I guess I do.

Anyway..I tell that to tell this...when Stacie stopped my cake mix off at the house, Ana said at first she thought about hiding because she didn't want her mom yelling at her. Instead she walked into the kitchen where Stacie was looking at a purse I told her to check out. Ana says, Stacie threw down the purse and says, "Well I guess you're happy now."" When Ana questioned why, Stacie says, "You never wanted me to be with Jamie anyway."

that is so much not the truth. Ana liked Jamie and always went with them when he took them places. I don't understand why Stacie acts this way. I know she's very immature, bitter, resentful, angry and that's just the surface.

Oh gee, didn't mean to go on and on.

So here Stacie has done nothing but ride to town because her heart is broken.

I've staked down about 15 trees, watered the plantation, dumped some old dying stuff, waited on customers, gathered jalapenos and cayenne peppers, baked a cake, cored, stuffed and wrapped with bacon about 40 jalapenos and put the cayenne on the dehydrator after I cleaned it up. Oh and washed up all the dishes.

After we had eaten a sandwich, Shandi comes down and  says..my silly mama has fallen asleep again. I asked if Stacie was in the bed and Shandi said she was. Said she tried to wake her up to turn the oven on because she wanted a pizza but she wouldn't wake up. So...I fixed Shandi a sandwich, cut her a piece of the cake I had made and gave her instructions on what to do when she got home...put the cake in the refrig (it has a cool whip/cream cheese icing) take her shower, take her meds and go to bed at 9. *sigh*

Monday

Most days I feel ok..I wear out around 2 or 3, but still manage to get a bit done. I don't think I still have any infection from the URI I had. Taking IV antibiotics is on hold until and unless I begin to not be able to get normal infections such as URI cleared up or begin having repeated bouts of pneumonia.
I still have the ATB (atypical tuberculosis). I go next Monday for a recheck, normal routine one. They will exray, compare, discuss..blah, blah.

Stacie is enjoying her bike, I suppose. She has been in hiding since the early part of last week, not showing her face to us/me. I think she is back taking her prescribed drugs over much because the exaggerated behaviors were surfacing before she went into hiding. I heard from Shandi that her bf broke up with her and I am thankful. I didn't like him, didn't like his looks, didn't trust him... but never said these things to Stacie. I think he was/is a little wimp with a big mouth that never shuts.

I called Stacie at 10:12 to go get her dad's lunch box and take it to him, he had left it in the county truck..no answer. I called again, still no answer so I left a terse message about people who won't wake up and answer their damn phones and went and did the errand myself. Damn f'in younguns, lay up in bed, sleep all day...

However...I am going to fix my situation once I am slowed down here. I have set aside some money with which I will transfer the electric into Stacie's name; once the year is up on our Cspire contract, I am going to attempt to transfer her and Shandi's phone into her name only, the water and garbage is already in her name and that will only leave her internet which is paid on my credit card...they only accept credit or debit cards for payments which are set up automatic. Then if she wants to sleep all day, whatever all night, spend her money on junk, and she doesn't pay her utilities, they can be shut off without affecting my credit. I only pay her electric because it's in our name. I only pay her phone because she owes a bill thanks to Roy (ex)..so far she pays these back to me...but sometimes it's like pulling eye teeth to get the money and that pisses me off and I am going to fix any and everything I can that pisses me off so I am not pissed off.

I've staked down some trees so they won't blow over in the pots, dumped some old, old overgrown stuff, watered the nursery, waited on several customers and ran hubby's lunch box to him..he forgot it when he got on the tractor.

Resting now...will gather jalapenos and cayennes, maybe gather up some more begonias to plant and might clean up some more around here.
